This is the title that truly cements Real Madrid as the King of European football. Knocking out the top 3 English clubs, without prime Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo, CRonaldo and Bale. It will take decades and endless Arab money for any other club to even come close to Madrid's greatness.

At the end of the day no one cares who deserved to win this. We could argue that Real was a bit lucky, but that's football. If you are in control of the game but miss your opportunities, don't complain if you lose.

That's my point @Halamadrid, with the players they've got they overachieved. From losing to Sheriff to winning the CL. They didn't outclass anyone from PSG, ManCity and Liverpool, but they were efficient. It remembers me the Tottenham side from 2019, but they couldn't win the final.

I wouldn't call Liverpool overrated. They were by far the better side; crated far more chances. Real have their goalkeeper to thank for the trophy.

@Lukakuisgood Overachieved? Madrid outclassed and knocked City, LFC and Chelsea without Ronaldo, Bale, Ramos, Pepe and Marcelo. This current squad is only half as good as Zidane's squad and still win over prime City and Liverpool and cup holders Chelsea. English clubs are rather overrated.

Obviously this Real Madrid side overachieved. Look at the reaction from their players, even they can't believe it. Nice to see knocking two big plastic clubs on their way to the final out, and Liverpool in the final. Some Liverpool fans got toxic thinking that they can win quadruple. Congrats RMA
